Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

To coach you, the App stores: your email address; the goals, weights, food, activity, and preferences you or the coach record; and the messages and photos you send in the chat.

2. How we use it

We use your information solely to run the App and provide your coaching — remembering your history, tracking your progress, and generating responses. We do not use it for advertising.

3. Third parties — we do NOT sell your data

We never sell your personal data. We do share it, only as needed to operate the App and provide your coaching, with service providers and integrations including but not limited to:

• Anthropic — your messages, photos, and profile are sent to the Claude AI that powers the coach so it can respond; Anthropic processes that data under its own terms and usage policies.
• Open Food Facts and similar nutrition/exercise databases — to look up the foods and activities you mention.
• Web search and external lookups — if the coach needs to find information for you, part of your request may be sent to search providers or to the public websites it retrieves, which are operated by third parties we do not control.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers that store and run the App.

As the App adds features and integrations, other such third parties may be involved. In every case we share only what is needed to provide the service, we never sell your data, and we may disclose information where required by law.

To say it once, plainly and without hedging: we do not sell your personal data to anybody, we do not rent or trade it, and we do not hand it to data brokers, advertisers, insurers or employers. There is no exception to this and no future plan to add one. The App is paid for once, by you; you are the customer, not the product. The third parties listed above are contractors that make the App work - a hosting company, the AI that writes your coaching replies, a food database - and they receive only what that job requires.

3a. What YOU choose to publish - the journey page

Your journey page, and any shared or progress board, work differently from everything else in this policy. Everything else here describes data we hold for you. These describe data you have asked us to show to other people.

• Private by default. Your page is visible only to you until you change that in Settings. We never publish anything on your behalf, and photos are never posted automatically.
• You choose the fields. The chart, your weight numbers, your food log and your notes are separate switches, so you can show the shape of your progress without publishing what you weigh.
• Anyone holding an invite link can view the page, and can pass the link on. A link is a key, not an identity check - there is no account behind it. Issue one link per person so you can revoke one without breaking the rest.
• Search engines are blocked on private and invite-only pages always, and on public pages too unless you switch indexing on yourself.
• Some things are never publishable at any setting: your email address, your login, and any GPS or location data from step tracking - a record of where you walk is not something a weight-loss page should ever carry.
• Publishing is not reversible. Taking a page private stops future access, but we cannot recover copies, screenshots or caches other people already made.

In short: information you deliberately publish or share is not private information, and you should not treat it as such. That is a limit of publishing, not a change in how we treat your data - we still never sell any of it.

4. Retention & security

We keep your data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and data by contacting us. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure.

5. Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data at any time. Because the App is a coaching tool for adults, it is not directed to children under 18.
