Your Coach ("the App") is an AI-powered weight-loss and nutrition coaching tool for adults. Coaching responses are generated by Anthropic's Claude AI. The App is intended for and directed only to adults: by creating an account or using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age, and you agree not to use it on behalf of anyone under 18. By using the App you also agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
The App provides general fitness and nutrition coaching and information for healthy adults. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for a physician, registered dietitian, or other qualified professional. It is intended for members of the general public in average health, without chronic medical conditions, to lose weight at a normal, safe pace — and to be used in conjunction with, not in place of, professional medical care.
Do not use the App as your only source of guidance if you are under 18, pregnant or nursing, have an eating disorder or history of one, or have any medical condition (including heart, kidney, liver, or metabolic conditions). Consult a physician before starting any weight-loss or exercise program. Rapid or extreme weight loss should only be undertaken under the supervision of a medical doctor. If you feel unwell, stop and seek medical care. You use the App at your own risk.
Responses are produced by an AI model and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not suited to your situation. Always use your own judgment and consult a professional for anything important. Decisions you take based on AI output are your own.
Keep your login secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Don't misuse the App, attempt to break it, or use it for anyone under 18. Accounts that do may be suspended or terminated.
Every account has a journey page - a page showing your progress. It starts private and stays private until you change it. You choose, in Settings, both who can see it (only you / anyone holding a link you create / anyone with the address) and which parts appear on it (the chart, your actual weight numbers, your food log, your notes). You may take it private again at any time, and doing so stops every link you have sent.
An invite link is a key. Anyone holding the link can open your page without an account, and they can pass it on to anyone else. That is what a link is; we cannot prevent it. It protects you from being found, not from being seen. Create a separate link per person so you can revoke one without breaking the others, and treat it as you would a key to your house.
What is published cannot be recalled. Making a page private removes it from the web going forward, but we cannot retrieve a copy, screenshot, cache, or repost that somebody already made. Please decide accordingly before you publish, not after.
The same is true of any shared board, progress board, or comparable feature: whatever you choose to put on it is visible to whoever that feature is shared with. Content you publish or share is not private, and you should not expect it to be. You remain responsible for what you post, including that you have the right to post it and that it does not identify or expose anyone else.
The App is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the App.
Any dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, not in court, and not as a class action. You and we waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class or representative action, to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and any permitted court proceeding will take place in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
These Terms may change. Continued use after an update means you accept the new version, so the date at the top is worth a glance.
